Description
Roll a die to choose a category -- like 'TV' or 'Politics' -- then read a quick description of an event. Now everybody tries to remember.... what year did that happen in? Each team has a set of brackets, 1-7, which mark off a range of years. When did STAR WARS come out? Can't remember exactly? Use the '4' bracket to mark all the years from 1976 through 1979. Both teams choose the bracket they want to use, simultaneously mark answers, and reveal. Get it right? One less bracket to get rid of on your way to victory! But remember, at some point we've to get the year exactly right so as to play that '1' bracket. Do we take a chance now that STAR WARS came out in 1977, or wait for a question we're absolutely sure about? The game rules are cleverly designed (even the sudden-death playoff rules are good), and the challenge of fishing dates out of memory turns out to be a lot of fun. The only unfortunate thing is that the questions run just 1950-1990. This game is just begging to be updated to 2000! - BoardGameGeek
