Description
Operation: Tunis was the game included in Strategy & Tactics issue #140 dated February 1991.The game is an Operational level simulation of the World War II battles fought during late 1942 between Axis and Allied forces for control of Tunis. Victory by the Allies would have led to Rommel's army in Libya being trapped and the war in North Africa being shortened. The period covered starts November 11th and ends December 9th 1942. There are two shorter scenarios ('Spearhead' and 'Battle for the Ports') and one that covers the whole period.Part of the 'Battles for North Africa' Series. The other games in the series are: Decision At Kasserine, O'Connor's Offensive, Hellfire Pass, Rommel at Bay, Patton Goes to War, and Race For Tunis. - BoardGameGeek
