Description
Each player has eight differently rated forest animals, beginning with the rat (1 point) and going up to the elephant (8 points). The players take turns drawing horizontally or perpendicularly. One can strike an animal, by comparing the strengths of both animals, the weaker one is taken from play. The only exception is the rat, which can attack an elephant. Additionally, three animals have special abilities. On the gameboard are two lakes, which obstruct the way of the animals. The rat can go into the lake, without being attacked by other animals, but it then can't attack the opposing elephants. The lion and the tiger can jump horizontally or perpendicularly over the lake and strike the animals on the other side, if they are weaker than them, but, only if the rat does not stand in the airline. A short distance from the opposing camp three traps are set up. Each opposing animal loses its strength there and can be struck. If a player succeeds in moving a play figure into the opposing camp he/she wins.Similarities with Stratego and Chess. - BoardGameGeek
