Description
No relation to the Rose Art board game of the same theme, this was the first game to promote Lego's Bionicle series of toys and even includes Bionicle masks which can be used on the actual Lego toys. Players take the roles of 'Toas' (the Bionicle robots) and move around a posterized game board attempting to complete challenges on the island of Mata Nui. When a challenge is successfully completed, a player is awarded a mask which grants additional, optional powers to him. First player to achieve getting all 6 of his Toa's masks (the masks are pre-constructed) wins. Despite being marketed as a CCG, the starter decks themselves are quite literally complete, mini-board games in and of themselves. - BoardGameGeek
